DAVE SAYS!

Since 1865!

Fourth of July Picnic this Sunday
This week is our annual 4th of July Picnic immediately after service.
You don't want to miss what Ken Woods and his team will be cooking up for you at the Bar B Q!

As always it is a Pot-Luck so bring your favorite picnic foods to share.
Don't forget the desserts too!

There will also be an Inflatable "Jumpy" water slide for the young and young at heart too!

Praises!
Praise God for getting all of those who went on the Youth Mission Trip
to and from Mexico safely!

The trip was a huge success and blessing to all that went and all that will
benefit from the hard work of your youth.

Ask any of the Youth Group that went on the trip about their experience and you'll see
a glow in them that was not there before.

You can be very proud of how well they behaved and hard they worked to share
the love of Christ with all they met!

Wednesday Ministry Leader Meeting
All Ministry Leaders need to attend this important meeting, Wednesday night at 7 pm.
Please contact your Elder to confirm you will be there.

Elders Meeting
Wednesday is the Elder's meeting and, as always, your Elders would love to hear from you.
If God has put something on your heart to share or you just want to talk,
the Elders want to hear from you.

May God bless your week.

You are an awesome Church!

Share your God by inviting someone to celebrate
Jesus with us on Sunday!

If I can ever be of help call me, Dave Raffi .

Dave Says.....

This week at Petaluma Christian Church!

Wishing everyone a Happy Memorial Day

We salute the brave Veterans and their families, who sacrificed their lives for our Country and the freedoms and values it represents.

Take the time today to thank a Veteran for their service.

Nearly every Vet can tell you the story of someone they
remember and lost in battle.

We ask for continued prayers for those who sacrificed so much and
the families that grieve their loss.

Prayers Answered!
We don't celebrate prayers answered enough.

Diana Corsentino was at her wits end over the problems with her van
and the wheel chair lift and door that never worked properly.
We Prayed for her!
God blessed her with a repair man who found what the problem was
and got it solved for her.
Thank you Lord!

Farrell Pollnow's vision was worsening. His vision was deteriorating
so quickly that the Doctors rushed him in for the treatment. The Doctors said that they would do what they could, but also warned the
treatment might not help at all.
We Prayed for him.
Farrell has had only one of the three treatments he'll be receiving and already God has blessed him with improved vision, which is a very encouraging sign that the treatment is working after all.
Thank you Lord!

Nancy Lyle's son Jeremy has been fighting in the "wars" and in constant danger. There is nothing like the fear a Mother goes through when her son or daughter is serving at war time.
We Prayed for him.
God has blessed Nancy with the great news he'll be home early
next month to live with her. Continued prayers are needed for his
travel home, but...
Thank you Lord!

If you know of other prayers answered, please forward them
to me or call me with the stories to share!

The Youth Mission Trip
Thank you Church for all your support!
It is only a few short weeks until the Youth Group heads off to
Mexico to work at the Ninos de Baja Orphanage.
You have all given so much to the youth group
and we appreciate all your support.
All we ask is that you remember the Youth in your prayers.
Please pray for a Christ honoring experience, safe travel and that the children of the orphanage are blessed by our help.

Elder's Meeting
The Elders will be meeting on Wednesday night. If you have any issues, suggestions or concerns please contact your family Elder and make
them aware of what is on your heart.
If you need help, you can always call Kathy at the Church office
and she will help in any way she can.

Thursday Men's Bible Study
Need a mid week dose of Bible study to help you through your week?
The 7 am Men's group would welcome you whenever you can make it.
Contact Dave Raffi for information.

PCC is Invited to the Gospel Mission
Nancy Lyle and the Heart singers will be performing Wednesday night at
6 pm at the Gospel Mission Chapel. The Gospel Mission does great
work for the poor and destitute.
Nancy would love to see all of her old friends from PCC.
For more information call Nancy.

Last thoughts...
Thanks to all the people who have emailed back with encouragement regarding the weekly emails. I appreciate all the kind words.
I have updated the email list of addresses to attempt to include as many as possible. This may mean that their are duplicate emails sent. I apologize if there are mistakes. If you let me know I will correct the problem.
If you know of others who might like to be included in the weekly updates, please forward their addresses to me too.

You are an amazing Church!
If you know of anyone who would enjoy celebrating Christ with us
each week, take the time to invite them to Sunday Service.

Remembering Him is what Christ meant by "keeping Him in us."

Inviting others to our Church to share Christ is
what puts the us in Jesus!

God bless you and your week...
see you Sunday!

First a quick look back!
Thanks to all of you that stayed Sunday to Support your Youth Group!

Because of your generosity,
(and you incredible love of cakes and pies!)
we raised $1,510!

We thank God for the little Church with the "BIG heart!"

The Youth Group will go on their Mission knowing they are loved and
make you proud by living the word of Jesus Christ by helping the less fortunate!

The Celebration of Dessie's life!
The service for Dessie Parker will be held at PCC on Tuesday the
20th, at 11 am. The family asks that if you have any pictures of Dessie,
to please bring them to share.

The COTS Program needs YOU!
Most people know of the great work that COTS does for our community.
They could use help right now in many areas. Be it helping to feed the needy, place homeless families in more permanent shelter or just reading to the Children when the
need arises, they need our support.
Continued Prayers for Farrell P.The doctors are doing what they can to slow the progress of his loss of vision,
but only God has the power to cure him.

Please keep him in your prayers.

You are a Great Church!
We are an amazing group of believers who do much good for the sake of others in the name of Jesus Christ. This week walk tall Church and share the love we have with others.

The lost have no one. Share Christ, share life giving message and share PCC with others. Invite someone you care about to join our Sunday celebration of the Savior!

Have a blessed week!

Mother's Day on the hill...

What a wonderful day we had fellowshiping and sharing a meal in celebration of all our incredible Mother's. Let's have a big shout out to Dave and Ken who out did themselves..once again, dishes and all! We are blessed to have them in our body and praise the Lord for their gifts of service. I don't believe there were any leftovers, everyone enjoyed the great food and we got a double portion thanks to Pastor Bill.
The sermon was as always well delivered, full of information and thought provoking. I was especially touched by Glen & Dale who got up gave a testament about their mothers. What a great way to honor them.
I hope everyone enjoyed the rest of the day.
